This kind of openable roof window, also known as Dual Action Roof Window (GRL) is an improved version of the GGL window. With improved versatility and usability, this product is slightly more expensive than the GGL version. They are designed specifically to be used in attics with shallower roofs to maximize rooftop views. Opens in two ways: the bottom handle allows for top-hung opening; a short pull on the top control bar allows filtered background ventilation even while the window remains shut.
A second pull on the control bar allows the window to rotate for maximum ventilation – and up to 180° for cleaning the outer pane from inside the room.
Insect screens are also available with it as an extra.
